Grouping of elements#14

I frequently need to group elements together in the Editor.

Grouping things is normally a MVP functionality known from nearby every editor/program

This should be a base feature! Nobody wants to move individual elements when building complex flows with images, text, etc. :0\

Hello @Wmerritt ! Grouping of elements is in our consideration list as we agree with you that this is a must feature. Currently we are super busy working on delivering cloud saving that will greatly improve collaboration between team members, therefore we will need some more time to work on the grouping.

Grouping of elements would compensate for the limited number of default shapes and also make it to possible to emulate having multiple text elements inside a shape.

I’d like to use Overflow for interactive flow charts, but until there is basic text formatting and shape grouping I’ll have to continue doing it in Figma instead (and build the navigation interactivity manually).

Looking forward to this feature being implemented in Overflow.

This is a must have…even the most basic programs have this option…even Powerpoint, LucidCharts and Canva have this option! … ‘cmd/ctrl’+’g’ to group, ‘cmd/ctrl’+’shift’+’g’ to ungroup, thanks.

(P.S. this grouping functionality has multiple different requests)
